Transportation from Mexico City International Airport (AICM) to the Camino Real Polanco Mexico City Hotel

•  By car/taxi: roughly 25–40 minutes depending on traffic (it can stretch to over an hour during rush hour, since the airport is on the opposite side of the city)

• The hotel also offers an airport shuttle as one of its amenities

 

Official Airport Taxi (Sitio/authorized booth)

This is the safe, recommended option — you pay a fixed, zone-based rate at a booth inside arrivals, not by the meter.

RIDE-HAILING SERVICE (Uber/DiDi, cheaper alternative)

Ride-hailing apps pick up from a designated zone in the parking garage and tend to run lower than the official taxi.

A few practical notes:

• Only use taxis from the official "Taxi Autorizado" / Sitio booths inside the terminal — never accept offers from touts outside.

•  Have small-denomination pesos on hand; some booths are cash-only, though many now take cards.

•  The ride takes about 25–40 minutes normally, but can stretch to 60–90 minutes during rush hour (7–10 am and 6–9 pm) — the fare itself is usually fixed by zone regardless of traffic time, but Uber fares can surge.

• A tip of 20–50 pesos for the driver is customary, though not required.
