The North American Plant Protection Organization (NAPPO) invites you to its 47th annual meeting, to be held at the Tucson Marriott University Park in Tucson, Arizona, from October 22-24, 2024.
Each year, the NAPPO Annual Meeting provides an excellent opportunity for government officials, industry representatives and research scientists to come together and discuss key issues affecting plant protection in North America. Meeting attendees discuss ways to increase safe inter- and intra-regional trade in plants and plant products, and exchange ideas on activities aimed to promote regional and international phytosanitary cooperation and harmonization.
During the 2024 NAPPO Annual Meeting, NAPPO's Expert Groups will report on their work towards fulfilling the NAPPO's strategic plan objectives. In addition, this year's symposium will have two sessions: the Implementation of NAPPO Standards and Reducing Methyl Bromide Through a Risk-Based Approach.
We also invite you to meet our new NAPPO leader, Dr. Francisco Javier Trujillo Arriaga. His term began July 2024, and you can learn more about Dr. Trujillo Arriaga and the Secretariat staff on the NAPPO website.
