Approved NAPPO Protocols

The purpose of NAPPO diagnostic protocols is to harmonize the application of available technology in NAPPO member countries to reduce the potential of obtaining different results by importing and exporting countries. NAPPO follows the guidance provided in ISPM 27: 2006, Diagnostic protocols for regulated pests, for the structure and content of its diagnostic protocols.

Treatment Protocols

The purpose of NAPPO treatment protocols is to harmonize the application of available technology in NAPPO member countries to reduce the potential for spreading pests through international trade.  NAPPO follows the guidance provided in ISPM 28: 2007, Phytosanitary treatments for regulated pests, for the structure and content of its treatment protocols.
